Join us every Thursday night for a friendly and social game of free Texas Hold’em poker at The Landing Pub in Ladner! Whether you are a seasoned player or a beginner, come out to enjoy the game, meet your new poker friends, and compete for a spot in the season-end playoffs.

Pro Tip: Arrive early! Happy Hour runs until 6:00 p.m. Enjoy great food and drink specials before we shuffle up and deal.
What to Expect

Free to Play: These are no-cash betting events with a zero-tolerance policy for real money wagering.

Social Atmosphere: Meet your new poker friends in a fun, friendly, and social environment.

Weekly Competition: Participants compete for points based on their order of finish every week throughout the season.

Seasonal Playoffs: At the end of each season, top players qualify to participate at a tournament for prizes.
Scoring System
Points are awarded based on your finish at the Main Table or Side Tables:

Main Table: 1st Place (1,500 pts), 2nd Place (1,200 pts), 3rd Place (1,100 pts), down to 50 pts for those finishing 30th or lower.

Side Tables: Points vary based on the number of players at the table, ranging from 800 pts for 1st place (8 players) to 250 pts for 3rd place (4 players).
Key Rules & Etiquette
To ensure a fair game, we ask all players to follow these guidelines:

Support the Venue: Our host venues provide the space for free. Please support them by ordering food and beverages to ensure these nights remain viable.

Professional Standards: No string bets, no splashing the pot, and no “rabbit hunting” (viewing cards that would have been dealt after a hand is concluded).

Communication: English only is permitted at the table while a hand is in play. Cell phone use is prohibited while you are involved in a hand.

Sportsmanship: Please act in turn, play at a reasonable rate of speed, and remain polite to other players and staff.

One Player per Hand: Collusion, “soft play,” or “angling” will not be tolerated to maintain game integrity.
Event Structure

Blinds: Blind levels increase every 15 minutes, starting at 25/50.

Breaks: There are scheduled 10-minute breaks during the tournament.
